I’ve always been a sap for “nature” things. One of my favorite blu-rays of all-time is the Discovery Channel’s Planet Earth.
Last night I stumbled upon this video, innocently titled The Mountain. I was greeted with an amazing movie of assorted HDR time lapse, beautifully set to soft piano music.
These time lapses were shot on Spain’s highest mountain, El Teide, considered one of the best places to view the night’s sky.
It is no exaggeration to say that this took my breath away, so I thought I’d share it with you. Put it in full screen mode and enjoy!

On a related note, I enjoyed the music so much that I bought composer Ludovico Einaudi’s Una Mattina album. Here is a link to his CD in iTunes – http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/una-mattina/id217799399
