30 Years – 3 Coaches – 6 Super Bowls

I didn’t know how to start this… so many things are running through my mind.

I really didn’t think that last years’ Super Bowl could ever be topped, but it was. I yelled so loud at the end of the game that I made my aunt’s cats jump four feet in the air.

Santonio Holmes’ catch was ridiculous. It will be remembered for a long time.

James Harrison’s 100 yard interception return for a TD was incredible.

Pittsburgh is now 6 of 7 in Super Bowls and now the only franchise with 6 Super Bowl wins.

I think I can argue that this has become as much of a dynasty as New England was in the beginning of the decade.

We are in good shape for next year. Re-sign S Anthony Smith, WR Nate Washington, and CB Bryan McFadden and with a couple of key moves, look for Steelers to be in contention for the Lombardi trophy in 2010!

I don’t know what more to say, just very very excited.

agreed, the steelers are an amazing franchise. But the current team is not a dynasty like the Patriots until they win the third one like the Pats( 3 super bowls in 4 years)They are close tho. Most NFL dynasties are determined by 3 or more super bowls. Steelers of the 70′s , 49ers of the 80′s, Cowboys of the 90′s , Patriots of the 00′s and if the Steelers win next year it will make them a Dynasty of the 00′s along with the Patriots Combining for 6 out of ten Super Bowls this decade
