Kids Are Exhausting

I spent today babysitting my three-month old cousin and attending a one year old’s birthday party. A total of five kids under eight were there. It’s now 8:45pm and I’m in bed with my eyes half open.

Two years ago, I thought I was ready for kids. I still can’t wait for kids – the ball games, the sleepovers, the everything- but for now, I’ll wait.
