Written by As the title implies, I’ve finally joined Twitter about a week ago and have yet to totally figure it out. From what I can see, it’s not that hard. Comment on whatever in 140 characters or less. Easy enough, right? What about direct messages and @replies? I don’t understand them. Like everything I don’t totally understand, I am going to play around with it until it sinks in.
The reason that I’m mentioning all this is because Facebook has taken a Twitter feel to it. Anyone else feel that way? Facebook must have been very threatened by Twitter. I saw a recent MSNBC story about how Twitter has no idea how they are going to make money off their product, yet were still able to raise $35 million in private capital.
I have a feeling Twitter is going to be bought by Google. They own everything else right?
