Today was my version of Spring Cleaning for this website. I added a couple new features like the “Follow me on Twitter” widget on the right side and provider for commenting.
I’ve also changed how my comments sections is powered. Now you can let me know you’re checking out my posts by leaving me a note using your twitter or facebook profiles. I hope that makes it a little easier than signing up for a WordPress login.
The final change I made was something that was bothering the crap out of me. I’m a bit OCD when it comes to small things on my site. Today I noticed the picture thumbnails on some posts (The Bowmans for example) were all horizontal in one column. It just looked bad. I configured the thumbnails to be in two columns, in what I hope is a cleaner look.
Making changes to WordPress sites are extremely easy. The majority of plugins have a simple user interface that allows me to make changes without having to type .html or .php code. If there is one thing I hate, it’s writing code. The thumbnail below is my website dashboard that navigates me through all the changes.
In the next few days, I’ll be posting some old videos I made during my WestConn years. Be on the look out for them.
In the meantime, how about you try out my comment section and show some love?
