Last Week Of College

Starting tomorrow morning, I enter my last week of college. I have two exams, a senior research project, and an internship presentation all due by Wednesday. This is a very bittersweet moment because I’m not ready to leave this place. I vividly remember the first day I moved to Danbury from Ohio, and I know I will forever remember graduating. I feel like I’m leaving behind everyone I have grown to love… from Mari, Sigma Chi, Wx peeps to financial aid workers and resident assistants. Most live within 40 miles of school and well… I don’t.

Of course I will continue to blog about what’s happening in my life… but be prepared to read some stories the next few weeks as I remember all the great times this school (and more importantly my friends) have offered me.

Catching Up With Rich

I got to talk to my lil bro Rich Pezzillo today… so good to catch up with him. I have shared so many memories with him. We’ve driven to Lyndonville, VT; got lost on the way back; tours of NBC and Meet the Press; Mississippi trips…

Rich is one of those people that you could not talk to for a year, but the moment we get back together, it was like old days.

After I graduate (5 days!!! Heart Attack time!!), I’m going to be heading to Baltimore. He’s currently working in the Capitol Building in DC so we’ll have plenty of time to hang out.

This is my boy Chris Blossom. Chris is also a meteorology major but only with the theoretical courses.

I had lunch with Chris yesterday and he went with an interesting combination. Peanut Butter and Sprinkles…

I guess it’s good that he’s not in chef school.

We’ve Landed On The Moon?

Apparently we’ve landed on the moon. But I don’t believe it. At least that is what Al Gore’s spokewoman recently was quoted as saying.

“Climate deniers fall into the same camp as people who still don’t believe we landed on the moon,” said the former vice president’s spokeswoman, Kalee Kreider. “We don’t think this should distract us from the reality.”

Really? You went there huh?

Well quote me on this Ms. Kalee. Because you are reporting what has been proven to be ‘untrue’ to the public, you fall into the camp that kicks their sister down the stairs and blames in on the dog. The same group that huddles with the frat bros and counts the notches on the bedpost (Actual number slept with = Amount you told your friends ÷ 5). The same community that lies to the world and gets A NOBEL FREAKING PEACE PRIZE!

Politico recently published an article that said scientist are beginning to ‘urge caution’ on global warming. Joseph D’Aleo, founder of The Weather Channel, says in the 2009 Farmer’s Almanac that the US annual mean temperature has fluctuated for decades and has only risen 0.21 degrees since 1930. He attributes this solar activity and ocean temperatures, not CARBON EMISSIONS!

This talk of global cooling really pissed alot of people off so Politico had to offer an apology. That’s when Capital Weather Gang (whom I’ve come to despise) picked it up. They report, and I pharaphrased, that meteorologists should stick to forecasting the weather and leave “Ph.D. climatologist” to take care of global warming issue. Apparently they’ve never met METEOROLOGIST Dr. Mel Goldstein… Oh and I forgot how Al Gore just got his doctoriate from the university

I’ve admired Andre Bernier for a long time, and I just found this article in which he chimes in on the subject. He believes, as I said here, that sun activity is to blame for ‘global warming’. Scientists who try to bleed out extra grant money are to blame for ‘global warming’.

Ugh… all this talk has made tired. I think I’m gonna lay down and watch the Hollywood production of us landing on the moon. You know, the prequel to that Tom Hanks movie.
